MADE IN

From 2012 Tamara Marino and Simon Troger undertake an artistic collaboration with MADE IN inaugurated working in unison on the relationship of consistency between art and art objects by removing the work from the pedestal and selling the product at the price of art, but at the cost of work. Installation that operates on the adversarial relationship between art and the economic value of the work.

The work is composed of white marble cubes placed in cellophane bags and vacuum hangers, suspended from commonplace installed in series on an appropriate support. Each envelope bears a sticker, like any mass-produced, they reported all product features, complete with a valid barcode.

MADE IN wants to put in the spotlight the seriality of artistic products and how the business world turns around you can influence the concept of the artwork. The focal point of the installation does not want to invest in the vision of Warhol serial works such as consent to the homologation of the customs and traditions of society, but to enter into alliance with the ethical and moral aspect of art through the reduction of the cost of a sublimating the concept art. The art object can be purchased, in contrast to art is not for sale.
